Last year's rookies, top prospects for future major league performance #16

As expected, a lot of different candidates drew a fair degree of support last round, with a fairly low percentage of the vote (21%) going to to the winner Cameron Maybin.  I believe that leaves Cahill and Laporta as the two highest ranking players from last year's community prospect list who used up their rookie eligibility but have yet to rank in this poll.

Here is where we are so far:

1. Matt Wieters, C Baltimore

2. Tommy Hanson, P Atlanta

3. Andrew McCutchen, of Pittsburgh

4. Brett Anderson P Oakland

5 Gordon Beckham, 3b CHW

6. Rick Porcello, P Detroit.

7.Elvis Andrus, SS Texas

8. Colby Rasmus, of St. Louis

9. David Price, P Tampa Bay

10. Travis Sinder, of Toronto

11.  Dexter Fowler, of Colorado

12. Chris Tillman, p Baltimore

13t. Matt Latos, p San Diego

13t  Derek Holland, p Texas

15. Cameron Maybin, of Florida

Star-divide

Ricky Romero with 3% of the vote and Mark Rzepcynski with 2% of the vote are temporarily dropped from the poll.  Parra, Valbuena and Stubbs are returned for another chance and Julio Borbon gets his first chance on the poll.

temporarily dropped from the poll (percentage and round in parens) Mat Gamel 1% (11), Randy Wells 0% (11), J.A. Happ 1% (12), Everth Cabrera 2% (12), Daniel Bard 2% (13), Marc Rzepcynski 2% (15), Ricky Romero 3% (15)

Although I am sure that I will add back a couple of these guys who were previously dropped, none of them performed so well in a prior poll or have been off so long as to require me to add them next round.  So, I am looking for two new players to add to the poll next round and will add one or two of the previous guys as makes sense.  Suggestions appreciated.

I also think Brad Bergesen should be added!

Does Wade Davis qualify for this list?

If so he should be near the top

three way tie

can’t believe we are doing another run off but it is currenly 43/43/42 with more votes in than we usually get in a round. On to the runoff between three players with very different stories about their status when they were prospects and what they did last year.
