AFL Championship Game Thread

Here's a general thread for discussing any insights that you can gather by watching the AFL Championship, currently airing on the MLB Network and I think mlb.com. Strasburg was scratched, but there are some interesting prospects playing. The lineups are the following:

Desme's stock is shooting through the roof.

It will be interesting to see him play against AA and AAA competition next year.

Will we see the pitch recognition get better (and K’s drop) as he continues to make up for two year straight of not playing, or will he tank when he starts to see good breaking pitches?

I guess the best case scenario would be a Chris Carter like season, where his power disappears for the first month or two while he closes holes in his swig, and then comes back and the adjustments become more natural?

Sometimes life will strike you out on a curve ball and the only choice you have is to flip off the umpire and walk to first base anyway.
