Glad I didn't video Moreland from 3rd baseline.

Don’t even want to think what the comments would have been.

Heh

He’s a big boy for sure.

Ok, here's a teaser

Coming up soon:

- A 6’-11" pitcher.
- A player’s whose last name is a smaller-bodied species of this genus celebrated by a Boston-born writer and who had the Nat’s saying “nevermore.”
- someone who may have been dipping into the kourabiethes a little too much.

Gotta say...

I kind of liked how Casey Kelly looked at the plate. Nice swing.

Good form...

I thought the fundamentals looked decent,,,but it looked like the swings were kinda slow and lacking any real explosion and speed through the zone. I’m not sure how his overall approach is, but from the numbers, I would assume this has a lot to do with it, and why reports say he won’t hit.

Desme

I was really interested in this considering the numbers he’s putting up there. His timing tap isn’t very fluid at times, and it seems he has to force his body into his swing too quickly. But when it’s there, his balance is nice.

I like his swing trajectory and bad speed, but it looks like he can tap into even more power with a better load, especially with his hands. It’s not necessary as his swing looks great when his timing is on and tinkering could throw it off, but I just wonder if he could generate more power if his hands got back a lil more.
