Last year's rookies-top community prospects for future performance #2

No surprise there as Matt Wieters, last year's community #1 prospect is still, a year later, the player we view as having the best future.  His 38% was far ahead of everyone else, although a majority preferred others and my recollection is that Longoria got a higher percentage of the vote last year. Still #1 is #1

1. Matt Wieters, c Baltimore

One thing we know for sure is that the #2 player from last year, David Price, won't be #2 on this list as based on his low vote total, he is being dropped for a couple of rounds.  Cobly Rasmus, as the lowest vote getter also drops off the poll for a few rounds.

temporarily dropped players: David Price 2% (1), Colby Rasmus 2% (1)

In their place, I'm going to give a test to Snider, Maybin and Tillman.

Players who I am planing on giving a tester to in the next two rounds are Fowler, Laporta, Coghlan and Porcello.  Others you want to see get a tester, suggest them below.

Anderson or Hanson

Voted Anderson, but could go either way. Both guys had superb seasons as rookies, and both bring excellent stuff to the plate. Should be, assuming health, two of the better pitchers in baseball for the next decade.

I voted for Andrew McCutchen...

in my opinion, a potential all-star center fielder with possibly five plus tools is more valuable than a pitcher.

i knew hanson would win

so i went with Beckham, who i think is going to put up drool-worthy numbers from 2B

Matt Wieters

Why isn’t Wieters an option? His September #‘s were absolutely Playstationish.
.364 BA .963 OPS (ish) basically put up 1/3 of his RBI’s and runs in that single month, he was on an absolute tear.
