It's not that bad
2 top 100 prospects in Crosby and Turner, a couple solid position players in Avila, Sizemore and Streiby. It’s certainly not deep, but it’s not the worst system out there. There’s some depth in the bullpen and the draft helped out a ton.

Didn't BA say that Turner is almost certainly going to be over Crosby?
If they do as expected, I imagine most others will fall into line.

YES
Finally, my turf.
1. Casey Crosby, LHP
2. Jacob Turner, RHP
3. Ryan Streiby OF/1B
4. Scott Sizemore 2B
5. Daniel Fields SS
6. Wilkin Ramirez OF
7. Andrew Oliver LHP
8. Alfredo Figaro RHP
9. Zach Simons RHP
10. Cale Iorg SS
I’d actually consider putting Wilkin Ramirez as high as #4- I’m still a believer in him especially if he can improve his walk rate. Cale gets one more year before I jump ship- he’s got the tools, he just needs the discipline (common theme here?). Ryan Streiby has done nothing but rake- even if the bandwagon is just me and Kevin Goldstein, I’m proud to be on board.

Also
I don’t consider Avila a rookie- if he was he’d slot in at #3.

But he's breaking camp witht the Tigers
And he spent a significant part of this year on the Tigers. Technically he’s a rookie, but to me he’s not. I’m being picky, I suppose.

I wish I had some faith left for Cale Iorg
but I just simply don’t I’d probably rank him in the top 20 for Det.

Keep in mind
He’s 2 years behind in development time because of his Mormon trip. That certainly doesn’t excuse his numbers, but a 21 year old with oodles of tools putting up a .222 .274 .336 line in AA is a lot better than a 23 year old.
Wow, that’s a weak defense… lets put it this way, Iorg needs work on plate discipline and contact rates or he’s hosed.

Strieby
I worry about Strieby’s injured wrist. It sent him to the DL multiple times this season before he was finally shut down.
Can't say I know that much about the system
1. Crosby
2. Avila
3. Turner
4. Sizemore
5. Strieby
