PrintI will be liveblogging the Tigers/Twins game tomorrow starting at 4 pm CDT. Prediction: Twins beat the Tigers 6-4. Porcello looks good through three innings but starts getting knocked around in the fourth, giving up five runs, and the Twins hang on to win.

Sure hope you're right,
But I don’t see how/why the Tigers would let Porcello allow five runs in an inning. This is an elimination game and they’ll pull that 20-year old at the first sign of trouble. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see even Edwin Jackson pitching tomorrow.

Porcello and ROY
My own prediction: If Porcello DOES pitch a gem, he will lock up ROY honors today. Don’t underestimate how much “pitching under the pressure of a pennant race” will sway the vote. On the other hand, that kind of an outing could be just enough to tip the scales toward the other rookies.

Twins
As much as I hate to say it, I think they win today. There’s no way that they don’t do all they can to extend their stay at the HHH Dome. Unless Porcello is just absolutely nasty, the Twins should win.
