Whom would you keep, if you you were inside my body?
Hey guys! Buzzer here with a huge question. Maybe the most important question issued within the last 14 minutes. I've got myself 17 guys who still qualify under my league's rules as minor leaguers, and can only protect ten of them. Here they be:
1. Jake Arrieta
2. Daryl Jones
3. Dellin Betances
4. Hector Rondon
5. Juan Duran
6. Allen Craig
7. Trevor Reckling
8. Casey Crosby
9. Chris Heisey
10. Josh Vitters
11. Jemile Weeks
12. Juan Francisco
13. Alex White
14. Ethan Martin
15. Caleb Gindl
16.Alex Liddi
17. James McDonald
So I think I'm gonna hold on to Arrieta, Jones, Rondon, Reckling, Crosby, Heisey, Vitters, Weeks, McDonald. Which leaves me one spot for either Betances, Duran, Craig, Francisco, White, Martin, Gindl, or Liddi. Who would you take of these remainers, and are any of my choices way off base? This will be my only selfish roto post of the year kiddos. I trust in you guys. Help the ol' Buzzer out!

My Opinion
Arrieta
Jones
Rondon
Reckling
Crosby
Vitters
Weeks
White
Those 7 seem like no brainers. Personally, I’m a huge Gindl fan and would put him as an 8th no-brainer.
Out of Running: Duran, Liddi, Betances
Then, that leaves 6 guys for the last 2 spots. In part, its based off need. I would choose Martin and McDonald as your two best remaining, but you’ll already have a lot of arms.
I disagree on Heisey being a sure thing, especially with Stubbs above him on the depth chart. He’s definitely one I could understand keeping, but he’s not a sure bet.
I think not keeping White is foolish. He’s a 1st round draft pick for a reason and could move quickly.

I'd take Martin, except
It seems like your taking a lot of arms.

if you you were inside my body?
I don’t know whether to be turned on or disturbed.
Fans are typically idiots.

The OP's phrasing is hella fucked up.
Brett Anderson is the Truth. Brett Anderson is divine presence. Brett Anderson is eternal life. Brett Anderson is within you. Brett Anderson is here. Brett Anderson is Now.

Out of the 10 you're thinking of
I would dump Jones (not that exciting to me), McDonald (what’s his projection at this point), Heisey (where is he going to play in Reds OF anytime soon with Frazier, Stubbs, Bruce, etc) for C. Gindl, E. Martin, A. White (especially if its known he’ll be a starter for sure before your keeper lock date)

mcdonald
has been great as a reliever… fastball sits regulary at 95 and he can hit 98… after 2 innings tho his fastball velocity decreases and his command sucks

young mcdonald
There’s a very good chance McDonald might become a lights out setup man, and maybe even a closer someday. But it won’t be for the next couple years even if he were traded, and it won’t be for the Dodgers for the next few years barring a Broxton injury.
In a fantasy league about 12 of the guys on the OP’s list have more expected value in the next 3-5 years than McDonald unless holds are a category but those are easily acquirable and have little trade value.
