Now that the regular season's over, let's spark some discussion.
Weigh in with your votes on the following:
Best overall system
Worst overall system
Most improved system (from a year ago - include both breakouts and teams you think drafted well)
Most depleted system - which team took the biggest hit?
Best overall system including major leaguers 25 and under

I need to think a LOT before I can weigh in, but I thought it would be cool to get the community's input.

Worst System Including major leaguers 25 and under- Mets
hohohhohohoh its the offseason
Most Depleted, Braves?
With the emergence of Teheran and Delgado (plus the dominance of Heyward), I don’t think that’s accurate. Sure, they graduated Hanson, Medlen and Schafer, but that system is still VERY strong.
Worst system including major leaguers 25 and under- Mets?
Mejia, Niese, Martinez, Holt, Davis, Havens, Flores, etc.
Plus Thole, Parnell, and Pelfrey are in the bigs. And Reyes and Wright are both 26.

and you'd really give that to a team that is one season removed from 89 wins?
and who had more DL time than any other team, including stints for 3 of the best 20 position players in baseball and their ace?

Seriously, have you heard of the Royals?
or Pittsburgh? or Houston? or Washington?…

PLAYERS 25 AND UNDER IN THE ORGANIZATION

NONE OF THOSE TEAMS QUALIFY EXCEPT MAYBE HOUSTON

Most Improved: Nats
Most Depleted: Cardinals
Best under 25: Rangers

"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."
Best: Rangers
Worst: Cardinals
Improved: Indians
Depleted: Blue Jays (Close with Cardinals)
Best under 25: Rays
Worst under 25: Astros
And how are the Brewers depleted. They might be the best farm in their division.
I was talking...
just in terms of how much they lost this year. Gamel no longer a prospect, I’m treating Escobar as a non-prospect too (he’s 5 ABs shy of 130) and Salome took a pretty big step back this year. That’s 3 of their top guys from last year. I like the Brewers and don’t think they’re a bad system by any means, but their minor league corps is nowhere near what it was last year.
