I'm one of the mods. over at a Mets site called Flushing University. We're looking to add some writers for 2009, particularly those familiar with the minors.  It's not a paying gig, although it will give your stuff some pretty good exposure. Well-rounded knowledge of the Mets system and good writing/grammar skills are a must, and we like our writers to be fairly comfortable with statistics. Ability to see some of the affiliates first-hand is a plus.
