BA International League Top 20

Got the issue with all the lists in it the other day, so here ya go...

1- Jay Bruce
2 - Andrew McCutchen
3 - Wade Davis
4 - Reid Brignac
5 - Jed Lowrie
6 - David Huff
7 - Neil Walker
8 - Denard Span
9 - Charlie Morton
10 - Homer Bailey
11 - David Purcey
12 - Kevin Mulvey
13 - Matt Joyce
14 - Brandon Moss
15 - J.A. Happ
16 - Jeff Niemann
17 - Brandon Jones
18 - Collin Balester
19 - Brett Gardner
20 - Chris Getz

Now remember, these lists lean more towards performance than other BA lists, and rankings are in context of the league. NOW you can start whining.

Surprised to see Brignac still that high

Probably one of the weaker upper-level leagues overall though.

surprised

I’m pretty surprised to see him that far up. I definitely wasn’t impressed with what I saw of him when he came to Durham for a few games.

you know it's bad for Homer Bailey

When a prospect out of nowhere Morton is ranked above you

Bailey

It really depends on who saw him and when. Did they see him when he wasn’t allowed to throw his 4 seam fastball most of the season? If so, then I don’t care too much.

Did they see him when he had his 4 seamer and was sitting 94-96MPH with a slider in the upper 80s?

+1

People forget that it takes flamethrowers a long time to figure it out. Dustin McGowan and AJ Burnett are good examples of guys who Bailey should develop similar too.
