Brett Gardner
I remember in past years that every time Ellsbury’s name came up, Gardner’s name came up. After this past season, Ellsbury is now considered the spark plug to the Red Sox offense. I think it would be nice to get your thoughts on Brett Gardner, his career so far and what he can possibly be in the future.
Ellsbury
Gotta love those lead-off men with .330 OBPs.

Most successful draft picks past round 45 in history
That would be a cool feature
Mike Piazza
I like the idea though, maybe after the 30th round
Stephen Drew Prospect Retro
After last year’s season, many people soured on this kid. However, this year he has really blossomed and has become one of the Dbacks most clutch hitters down the stretch.
Now raise your goblet of rock. It's a toast to those who rock!
DSL top prospects
a feature on that would make my day
Prospect Retro: Jeremy Hermida
Many predicted him to be a stud when he came up but his numbers have cratered this year. He’s still young though.
thoughts on the minor league season
breakout players dissapoinments?
preliminary top 10 farm systems?
AFL/HWL preview
quick one liners about “guys to watch”
good idea.
Fall League/winter ball previews.
Don't forget to send your broken maples to the US Forest Service.
DSL Prospects would be cool
Guys who could have “breakout” potential next year.
May be time consuming so just thoughts on guys who broke out this year.
Also let us know when to pre-order the book so you can get an idea for the printer. Since the economy SUCKS don’t want a lot of waste.
I doubt that you do it but...Scott Lewis
It’s a homer pick. He’s from my hometown. He’s definitely off to a great start.
+1 on Scott Lewis, as well.
Seems to have a bit more going for him now but still does not light up the radar gun. Think he will outperform Sowers and Laffey?
Future Aces.
Not possible #2 or 3 pitchers, I want aces.
Don't forget to send your broken maples to the US Forest Service.
+1
With a bit o’ attention as to what defines a true #1 SP. It can’t just be stuff.
The monster at the end of this blog.
We need this thread! Maybe next week.
Don't forget to send your broken maples to the US Forest Service.
Hypothesize/propose offseason deals
consisting of young players/prospects that make sense for both teams given their organizational needs, e.g. TEX trades Salty to CIN for Homer Bailey etc.
"Some mornings it just doesn't seem worth it to gnaw through the leather straps."

I know, I know
They could trade Josh Hamilton for Edinson Volquez!
Your 2008 Athletics: It's Nothing Personal.
Drew Stubbs piece
He kind of had a little breakout year, especially once he left the FSL.
