Brett Gardner
I remember in past years that every time Ellsbury’s name came up, Gardner’s name came up. After this past season, Ellsbury is now considered the spark plug to the Red Sox offense. I think it would be nice to get your thoughts on Brett Gardner, his career so far and what he can possibly be in the future.

Stephen Drew Prospect Retro
After last year’s season, many people soured on this kid. However, this year he has really blossomed and has become one of the Dbacks most clutch hitters down the stretch.

Prospect Retro: Jeremy Hermida
Many predicted him to be a stud when he came up but his numbers have cratered this year. He’s still young though.

thoughts on the economy
there are more than a few posters on the board that i’d think could offer a lucid encapsulation of the current crisis, and it might be worthwhile to see what potential fixes the board could come up with.

Crystal Ball: Shin-Soo Choo.
He’s been amazing down the stretch, after having some shaky times. Where does he go from here?

DSL Prospects would be cool
Guys who could have “breakout” potential next year.
May be time consuming so just thoughts on guys who broke out this year.
Also let us know when to pre-order the book so you can get an idea for the printer. Since the economy SUCKS don’t want a lot of waste.

I doubt that you do it but...Scott Lewis
It’s a homer pick. He’s from my hometown. He’s definitely off to a great start.

+1 on Scott Lewis, as well.
Seems to have a bit more going for him now but still does not light up the radar gun. Think he will outperform Sowers and Laffey?

Hypothesize/propose offseason deals
consisting of young players/prospects that make sense for both teams given their organizational needs, e.g. TEX trades Salty to CIN for Homer Bailey etc.

Drew Stubbs piece
He kind of had a little breakout year, especially once he left the FSL.
