Warning Fantasy Question...
I am in a 14 team keeper league. We only have 3 minor league keeper spots, though you can keep more as rookies. My team is loaded with young talent and I have a bunch of guys coming off the DL. My current minor league roster is:
Daryl Thompson
Thomas Hanson
Jeremy Hellickson
Neftali Feliz
I am going to need to drop one of these guys to make room for the DL players. So of these 4 which one should I drop.

i can't give you a concrete suggestion, but
feliz is special. hanson, hellickson, and thompson are good, but feliz is in a class above.

rankings
here’s how i’d rank them… i think it’s a pretty easy call, most of these guys are clearly in different tiers
1. feliz
2. hellickson
3. hanson
4. thompson

Thompson
I like what he’s done this year, but this one seems pretty clear-cut to me as well. I would also agree with ufoboy90’s rankings, with Hanson and Hellickson very close to each other, and Feliz a pretty clear #1.

Can you drop 2?
Feliz and Hellickson are both definite keepers.
Thompson is the weak link there.
I’m not sold on Hanson though. Even with 14 teams, I would think you could do a little better than Hanson.

What's with the Thompson hatred?
I’m not saying he’s the next Johan Santana or anything, but he seems to be better than you guys are giving him credit for. In the last 2 years in the minors, he has had 205 Ks in 233 IP while walking only 56 at the ages of 21 and 22. This year, at 22, he blew away batters both in AA and AAA (K/BB ratios of 4 and 3 respectively, ERAs of 1.76 and 2.95), and didn’t seem to be hittable until he reached the major leagues. He’s clearly not as good as Neftali Feliz, but is he so much worse than Hellickson? Than Hanson?

Huh?
I see 5 people saying Thompson, where is the hatred you speak of. Two people think he isnt the best and you bring out “hatred”, talk about hyberbole that would make Bravesin07 proud. :o)
Anyways I personally like Felix and Hellickson the most, Feliz is IMO better but I hate his park factor … that said I would still go with him.

Oops
Ok miscounted 4 for Thompson, still most either vote him for Feliz so my point is still fairly valid.

Well, hatred was hyperbolic
I thought that was clear. But unless I misread the post, voting “for” Thompson, meant voting to drop him.
That being said, I basically agree with your rankings
