Jonathan Sanchez part 2

On April 10th I posted a poll on who would have a better season. Jonathan Sanchez or Johnny Cueto. I personally was leaning towards Sanchez. The votes were split with Cueto winning at 132 votes and Sanchez with a mere 24. Sanchez is 5-3 with a 3.70era and 1.30whip. 75.3inn 75k 33bb. Cueto is 5-5 with 5.06era and 1.34whip. 74.7inn 70k 23bb. Care to revote? I am still convinced Sanchez will have the better season.

What's the point of comparing them?

Johnny Cueto entered this season with 22 innings of experience above Double-A ball, all in Triple-A. He’s 22, and right-handed.

Jonathan Sanchez made his MLB debut in 2006, and entered this season with 92 innings of major league experience. He’s 25 and left-handed.

So what if Sanchez is doing better, he’s a lot further along the development path.

that's not the question

he’s not asking who the better pitcher is or will be. he’s asking who will have the better season. i’d say sanchez has the better season and who knows from there. they are both extremely talented.

I heard Tim Lincecum will win 1 Cy Young & 11 Tim Lincecums. Question is, how many Cole Hamels will he win?
