2005 Hypothetical Minnesota Twins

This following roster for the 2005 Minnesota Twins assumes what the roster could've looked like if no players departed via free agency or trades.  In order to qualify, players must have originally signed with Minnesota as an international signing or through the amateur draft.

Please note that this post is meant to generate discussion on each teams' ability to develop and/or sign homegrown talent.  This team is fictional, and details like its economic feasability should be ignored.

how good the twins management has been at making solid moves in trades as well…that team includes 10 players not on a MLB roster right now….i bet you that team would garner all of about 70 wins, if even that….

Yeah

It’s amazing that this team gets credited as a great scouting and player development team. Especially when you consider how they messed with the development of guys like Cuddyer.

Valentin

Javier Valentin’s full name was Jose Javier Valentin, so I wrote his name as Jose, but I should’ve realized that the former Milwaukee shorstop also had the same name.
