Ben Revere
Even though he really smacked the ball around in spring training, Revere didn't make it on the Beloit roster to start the year. The Twins claimed it was because they wanted him to work on his defense in Extended Spring. As a result, he still is not listed among the leaders in the Midwest League. But his numbers are just sick:
.427/.464/.611/1.075
That's after having three consecutive three-hit games over the weekend. At first, the Twins said under no circumstances would hey promote him this year. But I'm thinking the Midwest League is just too easy for him and he should end up in the FSL by the all-star break. Thoughts?

Revere
Also he doesn’t strike out much at all, and is good on the basepaths.
Revere and Carlos Gomez, and Alexia casilla to an extent could cause lots of havoc on bases in the coming years.

That's what slightly concerns me
Last year he stole 21 bases but got caught 9 times. This year, he’s already gotten caught 9 times with 15 steals. How fast is he actually? Presumably he can improve his base-running skills, but it’s still a matter of some concern

fast.
he’s really quick,
i was at the double header in clinton on friday and he just didn’t seem too comfortable when taking a lead, he was kind of jumpy and was eventually picked off.
he’s fast, fast enough where he shouldn’t have this many CS.
it might be one of those cases where he’s just a better runner once he gets started,
and doesn’t get good enough jumps to steal off pure speed.
cos he doubled 3 times and probably 2 of them he could’ve attempted to go 3 and it would’ve been close. the other time he stretched it to a double.
i’m not sure about his defense,
but joe benson made a great diving catch in center.
the twins OF situation looks pretty good for the future

Very fast
He was the fastest guy in the 2007 draft running the 60 yard dash in an incredible 6.3 seconds according to Baseball America.

Ben's thieving ways
There are lots of examples of fast runners who took a while to learn the techniques of base-stealing. There are others who never learned it in spite of blazing speed… so we can’t be sure whether he’ll figure it out, but there is no doubt he has game-changing wheels. The improvement in his hitting is the dramatic thing about this young man… if he continues his development with the bat (which was rated as below-average, and pull-conscious by the draft scouts only a year ago) they will need to think about challenging him with better pitching before the end of the year.
