Brent Clevlen
I want to get some feedback from the community as to what they think the Tigers can get from Brent Clevlen this year? He absolutely murdered the ball in AAA at a .324/.417/.620 clip over ~240 ABs, and has performed well in the past. John gave him B in his 2006 rankings IIRC, and he's shown flashes before. He's managed to cut his K rate down and has a new stance this season, which he is crediting for some of his success, and he's still just 24. Break out your crystal balls and try to predict what he'll do this year, and in the future.

Hmm...
Maybe something around .240/.280/.400 in limited plate appearances? That may be a little generous, as his high K rate (which is still high, regardless of his changes) should keep his average and OBP down. He does have some pop, though, which is nice.

Defensively...
I’ve not seen Clevlen play yet, so I’m wondering if anyone might have comments in that area as well…Comerica is a big field, and plus defense in the OF from Brent could only help him (and the team!)..Thx…

Defense
Brent is a good defender with a plus plus arm.
