Headley Time????
With the current disastrous state of the Pads outfield, coupled with their current poor play lately, I think it's gotta be Headley time!!! After a slow start when he was sent down, he's been hot the past two weeks, hitting over .500, (5 for 5 yesterday), so personally I'm more than ready to activate him on my fantasy team and hopefully watch him rake. If they believe he's at the point where he can be at least average in the OF, I think they know that his bat's ready to make things happen and hopefully make a difference in their lineup---BRING HIM UP NOW!!

Why not?
It’s not like they have anything to lose. The team’s been ATROCIOUS since day one.

BA Hot Sheet
He’s #1 this week. The Pads are looking at Cory Sullivan. Think about that. Sullivan as an upgrade.
Get Headley up as soon as you can. or wait a couple weeks to make sure he misses Super Two status if you think the Pads can’t make the play-offs this week.

jody bleepin gerut !!!!!! you gotta be kiddin me!!!!!!
This just has to be financially driven, and likely based on Headley’s service time in the bigs and his clock-—-Gerut hasnt been in the ML for two-three years for a reason-—HE CANT PLAY!!! --is a below average career major leaguer-- and has absolutely no future in SD!!!! IMO keeping Headley down to save a relatively few bucks later on is a disgrace and an insult to the fans of SD.

Making sense of this
you can’t…..Headley deserves the opportunity to play with the Pads. Bringing Gerut up will only prolong the bleeding.
Ripken.....thanks for the memories...

Yeah you can
Towers is a pretty shrewd guy. He knows he’s in a small market and delaying that Super 2 deadline as much as possible in a season where, odds are, you’re not competing, is a good thing.
