debating Posey/Matusz at 6, so Matusz at 9 is even better.

Same with me (Giants)

I was debating between Smoak and Hosmer beforehand and was shocked they both went in the top four.

I don’t think Kelly is that great of pick

by batonball on May 31, 2008 1:51 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Response

I really like Kelly, just still debating if he’s a position player or pitcher. I think his rep might get a little hurt by that.

Tyson Ross

Yeah, I agree. I definitely think he was the biggest reach of the first.

by GoJays7 on May 31, 2008 1:55 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Potentially

but I think his bat can move fast and I wanted nothing to do with Posey.

Every Giants board I visited is clamoring for a big college bat that can fly through the system, and the three names that came up most often were Alvarez, Smoak, and Alonso.
