PrintHave any of you guys played this game yet? It's pretty fun and I think most of you guys would like it. If you are a big sports fan you should definetly give it a try.
You create your own player and train him to get him better. Real people own the teams so it gets pretty interesting. Right now I am getting addicted to it. I had only a RB, but actually spent $10 to get me some more points to buy a WR, OG, and LB.
If you haven't tried yet, I would recomend giving it a try.

No, you misunderstood. The link above is a referral link, so everyone who signs up with that link is making in-game “money” for the topic creator.
It’s just basically fake altruism. Saying, “Here’s a game you guys might like,” when really he’s just trying to get money in the game to boost his players or create more.

when you refer someone and they have some type of award for the referral there is no harm no foul. Typically you mention this but it’s not required.
Isn’t the whole point of referral “money” to reward those bringing people in? And he’s doing that.
so:
a)person referring is happy because of his bonus
b)person referred is happy with the new service he signed up for
what’s the problem?
I guess if he misrepresented what the service is for? And if I posted myself I might put 2 links. One being the normal link and the 2nd being the referral and note clearly what the 2nd is.
But no biggy.
Agreed, it’s no big deal. It’s just interesting to post a referral link, without mentioning that it’s a referral link, to an MMORPG football game on a minor league baseball website.

it is the exact same as the referral page, so I really didn’t think it was a big deal.

A lot of those sites frown upon people just going around and...
...dropping referral links here and there. At least, they claim to. I guess the idea is that people are only supposed to refer their friends rather than complete strangers, but it doesn’t tend to work that way.
No real big deal to me.

I gave them a link to sign up at if they hadn’t played it yet. Either way the sign up is the same. It’s not like I just made an account to post this, I have been a pretty active member of the site for a while. I figured that most of the guys on here, who look deeper into sports, would probably love this game.
