Hanson has been lights out
side note: anybody worth watching on Kannapolis or Hickory?
(ChiSox and Pirates Low-A)
The Giants need to sign Harry Doyle.

You do good...
...work my friend and it is MUCH appreciated. Keep it up and I'll start checking HERE first before i go to MILB.com :-) If you need a break let me know. I was gonna post this tonight but you got it!
Let me add more...
Mr. Todd Frazier went 3-4 with a double and his 4th homer and 3 RBI. this is after hitting 2 yesterday with another 3 RBI.
Now hitting .476 (10-21) with 4 Hrs, 8RBI, 8 walks, .621 OBP, 1.190 SLG and 1.811 OPS! This is what a nearly big league ready basball player looks like in the Midwest League.
Garett Olson threw 6 blanks at Rochester with zero walks (7 k's) after walking 6 in 4 innings last start.

Thanks!
Good job and the effort is appreciated...
Good to see Martinez drive a ball. I'm not sure why the Mets haven't moved him to a corner yet, because he's not playing CF in NY anytime soon. He played LF and RF when Beltran was out in the Spring, but for some reason he's back to CF now...
Great to see Carp swinging a hot bat too. I'm sure hitting in the Eastern League in April isn't a lot of fun...

Kane County
In the other game, 4 KC pitchers combined to pitch 10 shutout innings against Burlington, giving KC a stretch now of 19 consecutive scoreless innings.
Also, Burlington pitcher Daniel Gutierrez pitched well today. 6IP, 3H, 1BB, 5K. For the year, he has thrown 11 innings, allowed no runs, just 5 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 13.

Bulls/Yanks game this Saturday
I'll be going to a lot of Durham Bulls games this year, and the first one is this Saturday against the AAA Yankees. Is there anyone I should be looking out for? Besides the usual suspects (Briggy, Longoria) I mean. :-)

Henry Alberto Rodriguez
Another dominating start for High-A Stockton:
6 IP, 2 H, 2 BB, 8K
Still seems to have some minor control issues, but the high K's and low hit rate are great signs.

2 BBs
2 walks coupled with 8 k's and 2 hits seem like "minor" control issues to me. :)

Parra
Wow - is Gerardo Parra smoking hot out of the gate. The big knock on him has always been his power potential but, after hitting two more triples last night, he's up to 5 XBH in 28 AB. I'm not sure that's I'm most impressed with, however, as Parra now has a 6:1 BB/K rate. On the season he's hitting .393/.514/.750...and he's got 3 SB as well. Very impressive...

Edit
Should say " I'm not sure that's what I'm most..."

Jeff Larish
He hit his fourth home run in Toledo yesterday. Is there a reason this guy isn't at least a little higher on the prospect radar?

Wieters left yesterday's game early...
because he was ejected along with the Keys' manager.

Ruggiano
Justin Ruggiano, a Sickels fave, is up for the D-Rays now and doesn't seem overmatched. Another Sickels prospecting find?
