Jeff Allison update

Jallison200200_medium

via www.futurefish.org

The young man has been drug free/crime free for about 6 months now (don't laugh) and he is currently pitching in High-A Jupiter for the Marlins.

Tonight he went 4 innings, gave up 2 hits, 1 run(unearned), walked 4 and struck out 1

On the season, he has gone 7 innings, allowed 4 hits, 4 runs (0 earned), walked 6 struckout 5

Just 24, there's still time for this kid to make it if he can steer clear of the gutter.

Hamilton showed us it's possible

Here's hoping he can stay clean and on the field.

Hamilton

You know, I think Josh Hamilton is going to be one of those guys who empowers a lot of people before it's all over. A lot of people in a lot of fields get sidetracked. Here's a guy who was as sidetracked as they come and he took command of his seemingly terminal situation.

I hope Jeff Allison becomes another example to all of us.

Wow

Great stuff. When he relapsed the last time, I never expected to hear his name again.
