OT-Music question for John

I was curious after you asked us to recommend some bands for you whether or not you found yourself enjoying any of them? There was a large response to your request, I would have to think at least one of us came up with something you liked. What, if any, are the new bands that you now listen?

I gave you a couple of suggestions, including this band. This is one of the best videos ever, even if I like other songs by them more. Brings a smile every time:

I’m sorry to say that I haven’t had time to pick up anything or listen to it. Time’s been extremely short with family and work, and music has had to take 14th place right now. However I have the thread saved and will refer to it when the time is right.

Well more so because the White Stripes are god. I’ll check out Consolers of the Lonely.

Sunset Rubdown’s Random Spirit Lover was my favorite album of 2007. It’s experimental/art rock….so thats as far as I’ll go as to describing it lol.

Brendan Benson

his stuff is kinda catchy. I don’t know. I used to know all the bands back in say 1985. Now i don’t know anything. Would rather listen to stuff i didn’t listen to back then, like Birth of the Cool or something. Actually thought that raconteurs song was decent.
