adam miller
nice to see miller start the year finally…. he could be the biggest midseason addition for the Indians if he stays healthy

Thanks!
Outstanding job gatling.
No definitive word yet anywhere on Detwiler….Most sources say he gave up two runs and three hits and recorded two outs.

Not an injury
He was incredibly ineffective and wild. Threw 40 pitches to the six hitters he faced in 2/3 of an inning. Went 3-balls multiple times. Lots of fouled off pitches. Reports are he is making mechanical changes to his delivery and he is working on becoming comfortable with the new delivery
Wow, this is great
Thanks for doing this!
I love coming to this thread every morning

Truinfel slowly coming around after the injury
4 for his last 7 with a walk
pretty impressive start to the season for Latos – 4IP, 8 K’s, 3 GO, 0 FO
Masterson
Masterson was called up to the majors and will be making a spot start today versus the Angels. He’s been on fire to start the season, posting a 0.95 ERA, 5BB and 23K in 19 innings, with a 3.57 GO / AO ratio
should be an interesting start

A word on Fields
He had an okay night. He worked the count really well his first time up but struck out on a pretty bad call by the ump; it was kinda funny, as Fields stood there and argued for like 15-30 seconds.
Next AB was a ground-out to third on the first pitch. >_<
He had a couple of hits after that, including a HR that either bounced over off the top of the wall or in the first row behind the fence (there was like nobody in that part of the ballpark last night). His other hits were hardly-hit grounders through the hole.
So I’d say a mixed night. Certainly better than most of what he’s been doing, but three grounders, one long fly ball that just made it out is nothing too great. I dunno if it was lingering frustration from that call in the 1st, but he stopped working the count very much after that. Granted, he was generally getting solid contact, but he saw 1, 3, 3, and 2 pitches in his later ABs after seeing 7 in his first. Still, strong kid.
brandon hicks
2nd homer in 2 nights, and overall 2-3 (also a double) and a walk.
OPS now over 1000 and supposedly plays a solid SS.
