Jiminez vs Morales------Where are they now and where are they going?
These guys both have big arms and showed what they could do last year in Sept and October when they both performed very well, especially for young guys in big games!! Now they both seem to be struggling and are at a much different place in their development and there is obvious concern----is there a serious problem or are these just typical growing pains----Morales seems to have lost some velocity but apparently just recently regained most of it, and Jiminez just cant seem to find any consistent control. The Rockies future could litererally depend on how well these two young pitchers perform. Any thoughts??

Morales
is clearly the better of the two—I liken Jimenez as more of a role playing pitcher who will get relief time and starting time depending on who he plays for.
Morales reminds me of Brad Penny. He doesn’t have great K rates but his stuff is good enough for the bigs.

When will LiRiano turn it around ?
OMG, Did you see his pitching line today ? Very few strikes. I believe he is painferee, just lacking command & confidence. His time at Rochester was not exactly inspiring. I would have prefered he stay until clearly back to form. What is the plan?
