mike moustakas
anyone know if moustakas has an injury or bad conditioning over the winter or anything?
he's hitting a dissapointing .172/.226/.172 line in low A.
5/29 2bb, 6k.
he's strikeout rate isn't bad, but the lack of extra base hits is a discomforting.

Its just too early to draw many conclusions yet. If he is still doing this in a month or so, I will be a little more curious what is going on. Slumps and slow starts are part of the game. He is also still getting acclimated the minors I bet.

Burlington
Let’s also not forget how rough Burlington is for hitters. I would be shocked if he finished the season with an OPS above .800.
He doesn't look like a great body to me
Looked a little lumpy to me for an 18 year old. He also doesn’t look athletic enough to stay at SS to my untrained eyes.
But his bat speed is amazing, and he’ll be a very good major league hitter.
Sample size.
Will he stay at SS?
If he sticks in KC, he may end up playing SS just for organizational needs even with mediocre fielding just because they really can’t fill the position internally (I don’t think Bianchi is major league material) and they have Gordon at third. I’m also hoping for this, as it will make me feel less stupid for going against my gut impulse and drafting him over Jeff Clement
