I'm on the road right now in Tulsa but will be back tomorrow night. Any suggestions for coverage starting Wednesday?

I think it'd be really interesting if you were to hypothesize what a player like Ichiro or Matsuzaka would have turned out like had they begun their career stateside.

On a side note, what do you think of that hot young Japanese pitcher for the Royals, Hideo Nomo? I hear he's got a pretty funky delivery...

Doumit is an intriguing player right now. I think he worked hard over the off-season and in spring to win at-bats at catcher.

I'd like to hear something about him. It seems a lot of scouts think he won't pan out because of his swing, but he's hit on every level he's been at. Maybe a profile or a crystal ball?

A crystal ball. A smackdown with another prospect. Or whatever. Anything on him would be greatly appreciated.

He doesn’t seem to get the same love from other publications (i.e. BA, who not only didn’t rank him in their top 100, but NONE of their writers even voted for him in their top 150!) as he does in your book. Can you explain why you like him more than others seem to like him?
