Back in the Saddle
Well I am back in the saddle again. I have some catching up to do today. I was going to do the Greinke Community Projection results, but A) We didn't have very many entries, and B) Somehow I forgot to ask you to project K/BB ratio, which is extremely important. So I'm going to basically toss the Greinke CP out for now. Those of you who made a projection, I'm sorry about that.
My own projection for Greinke is for a 4.25 ERA in 190 innings, 146/55 K/BB with 190 hits allowed.
Tomororw I will post my predictions for the 2008 season.
What suggestions do you have for this coming week?

How about
a prospect retro on Travis Fryman?
Or anything on him would be fine!
or a crystal ball on Clayton Kershaw?
Crystal Ball?
That would be very interesting to see.

Time to give up?
What's wrong with Mike Pelfrey?
Failed Prospect- Just kidding, or am I.
your answers
to the true and false question from the past week.... curious what you have to say
"If you were a hot dog, would you eat yourself?"
Dustin Nippert, Nathan Hayes, Reed Johnson, and other last day moves
What about a entry on the last minute moves on the teams 25 man, the guys that are out of options that get moved that actually stand a chance to break out
More prospect stuff
the stuff about the young major leaguers is interesting, don't get me wrong. It's sometimes cool to read about them through the prism of their former status as prospects.
But there are tons of sites dedicated to major leaguers where I can read about guys like Zach Greinke, Mike Pelfrey, Andy Marte and Lastings Milledge.
I frequent this site for the focus on minor leaguers.
Who are some guys you're especially ecxited about in the minors this year, John? I have the book, so I know the guys you've labeled as sleepers, but it's always fun to read about and discuss guys like that.
Or maybe some make or break guys. Who needs to step up this year or risk forever being lost to the minor league abyss?
Just my two cents.

Prospect Retro on Tony Clark
Former 2nd overall pick who split his time with basketball early in his pro baseball career and didn't get much development time. Clark looked like he was going to be a decent thumper after 97-99 and then became a role player overnight.
Top Prospects with big impact THIS year!(like: Braun, Pence, Lincecum & Gallardo did last year)
How about:

Prospect smackdown: Schafer v. Jones
They're both ticketed for the Braves outfield, but how do their skills compare in the long run?
