What do you guys think of the Giants latest draft pick? Do you see him as a guy with top of the rotation stuff?

top of the rotation fastball, off speed stuff needs some work. however, there aren't many high school lefties that can throw 97 mph.

Well
Noone talks about Bumgarner because he didn't pitch in 2007. Personally, I like the kid a lot. He has a ways to go, but there's a reason why he was selected above Withrow (a person that a lot of posters on this board love - for good reason).
Bumgarner is going to be a beast.... assuming he can stay healthy and develop that secondary stuff.

I dont know that no one talks about them...maybe because they need to prove something still?? Bumgarner has iffy mechanics and an average second pitch..let alone a third pitch.
With that said, he was probably the right choice for them at no. 10.
He is a good way off for sure. Wont jet through the system like Kershaw or Porcello
