2007 draft pitchers vs 2008 draft pitchers

I was wondering where everyone would rank this years top pitching prospects compared to last years. We could even rank the high school guys seperate from the college. Most importantly Im wondering about these 3: Tim Melville, Alex Meyer, and Garrit Cole.

My rankings look like this (this is based purely on what I have read):

High School Only

Rick Porcello
Jarred Parker
Madison Bumgarner
Tim Melville
Tim Alderson
Garrit Cole
Blake Beavan
Micheal Main
Alex Meyer

That is all I can think of right now. Please let me know what you guys think

Wayyyy to early on the 08 draft
but the 07 draft did have what many considered the top high school (Porcello) and college (Price) pitchers to come out in a long time.  Last year at this time Brackman was considered the #2 pitching prospect and Moustakas was no where near the top 5 overall.  In a couple months things will be much more clear.

+1
and people will still fight for the next 3 months before anyone knows anything.
Anyone remember being excited about Zach Duke?

Setting Aside that its Too Early
Porcello and Parker are ahead at this point in time. Gerrit Cole has the stuff to be ranked up there with Parker and Porcello should he develop more control and straighten out his delivery.

Melville reminds me alot of Alderson, as both really have great control for being so tall. I'm not sure where Meyer ranks at the moment.

And, by the time draft day rolls around, I'm guessing there will be a pitcher or two that we haven't mentioned yet that will be ranked up there with Melville/Cole/Meyer.

i don't know about high school
but this year's college class is a lot deeper.  last year you had david price, who is the best prospect out of either year, and ross detwiler, but none of the other guys were all that great.  this year you have brian matusz and aaron crow who are at least equal if not better than detwiler, then you also have guys like christian friedrich, brett hunter, tanner scheppers, shooter hunt, and even the polished guys like jacob thompson are better than james simmons was last year.
