Stupid
Pujols 11th pick? Pointless exercise.
One day, Elijah Dukes will be President of the United States.

lol
I had exactly the same reaction.

It was reinforced when I saw gimpy, no-RBI, no-AVG Soriano at #12.  With healthy wheels, I could maybe see it.

Strange
ESPN draft pick selections seem "off" for many of these players.
ChaseUtley @ #15? I'll take it!
Ted Williams: .406

Hanley
I haven't started ranking roto players yet, but isn't Hanley in consideration for the #1 pick now that A-Rod isn't running as much?

Interestingly, I just checked my Inbox (after starting this reply), and part of an ad from BaseballHQ included this:
---
There are no surprises as to who these players are (A-Rod, Miggy and Wright), but an objective look casts doubt as to whether A-Rod is the slam-dunk #1 pick. For starters, round #1 is all about "best talent, least risk" as you cannot afford for a #1 pick to go belly up. The older Yankee, coming off a career year and new contract, and with a history of inconsistency, seems primed to take a step back. The other pair are close enough to close the gap quickly.

But most owners will have A-Rod's 2007 stat line clouding their vision. If you're lucky, you'll have to "settle" for a lower pick.
---
I guess that means Hanley's not even top 3 in their view.

top 6...
That said, those 4 plus Holliday and Peavy would probably be my top 6.

I liked getting Holliday and Peavy later last year in both my redraft leagues better than using an elite pick on them, though. :>
