Reminder - Community Top 100 synthesis list
Hey all,
It has slid off the front page, so I thought I would give a quick reminder on the synthesis of people's individual Top-100. The link with full overview and directions is at Top 100 synthesis.
It's kind of cool so far - contributions from many people who don't post a lot, but are long--time readers here, and some pretty variant opinions. Be sure to get yours in the queue!

Question
When’s it due? I’d love to do one, but I have exam week this week, and I’m a little swamped.

Update
I’m tied up with work until Dec. 19 (not the 15th), so everyone has until then to get their lists in.

Answers to some questions
I’ll fill out this thread with answers to some questions I’m getting by email.
First, no I won’t be publishing individual lists that you submit – so your draft strategies are safe ;)

Update
I just ran through a tester of 10 lists sent in so far. A little update on average position of some guys relevant to teh community list right now:
Vince Mazzaro – on 2 of 10 ballots, with an average position of 65. Scarcity of ballots drops him down to position #121, though.
Chris Marrero – on 4 of 10 ballots, with an average position of 67. Greater representation moves him well ahead of Mazzaro, up to position # 95.
Ivan DeJesus – also on 4 of 10 ballots, with an average position of 65. Total position is #94, one ahead of Marrero.
Beau Mills – also on 4 of 10 ballots, with an average position of 81. He gets the Red Lantern award, currently holding down spot #100.
Most erratic pick so far is Scott Elbert, who is only on one ballot, but was ranked #33 on that one.
Keep those lists coming!

Update II
Interesting that thus far, the majority of lists are coming in from people who comment very infrequently on this site. We’ve got a few regulars that have also submitted, but thus far they are quite outnumbered by the “silent majority” on this site.
I don’t know what that means, but it does seem kind of cool.

Question
I am assuming you are going to be a statistical analysis of this data. I know that you are collecting it all. Can i request a copy of the data as well. The reason being is that I am currently a 2nd yr MBA student and I would find it very interesting to run a few things myself. If this is stepping on toes, I apologize.

I don't see why not
unless someone else here that submitted has some heartburn over it. I would just redact it to eliminate the names of the people that submitted so they can’t get corked in their draft.

Good deal.
Once you get everything collected Ill touch base with you. By all means, delete all the names. Im interested in the rankings and the numbers. It would be an interesting dataset to work with.

And I just realized
I put Rickie Weeks instead of Jemile Weeks at #127. Sorry.
