Edward Salcedo?

Not to go all 2007 on you guys, but does anyone know what in the hell happened to Edward Salcedo. I know all the Indian and Yankee stuff from back then, so need to repeat all that, but what is the 2008, going on 2009 scoop on this guy? Has anyone heard anything? Am I at 75 words yet? Damn. Not even close. I think that I shall never see, a poem as lovely as a tree? Okay, now? Good.

Long ago...

I came to the conclusion that he is, indeed, a myth.

Not sure

I don’t know if this is accurate, by I remember reading somewhere, that he’s still in the Dominican at a Yankee academy. He’s a “myth” in that he never had those legendary A-Rod-esque talents Boras was singing about, but he is actually a real person.

"I'm a man who discovered the wheel and built the Eiffel Tower out of metal and brawn. That's what kind of man I am. You're just a woman with a small brain. With a brain a third the size of us. It's science." - Ron Burgundy

Bigfoot? I think I found him...

I can’t be 100% sure it’s the same Edward Salcedo, but the swing sure does look solid, especially for a 16-year-old. He looks to have a fairly developed body as well (listed at 6’3 190). Also, there’s one more video of him listed on the home page (www.prospecttube.com) which gives a better view of his swing during a batting practice session.

That being said, I think I enjoyed it better when he was merely a myth…

IF he’s 16. There were some reports (was it last year?) that he was actually 21-years old.
