cliff lee wins the a.l. cy
But please explain to me how 3 different writers can leave roy halliday off the ballot?
Combine that with the writers voting for volquez in the n.l. and you wonder how these writers are choosen. It is a joke, no?
Why is so much filler needed to make these pots legit?

Volquez
Where do you see this? The votes I see have Lee, Doc, K-Rod, Dice-K, Rivera, Moose, and E Santana.

Agree with the poster
Halladay and Lee deserved top 3 on all the ballots. Writers who differed should be publicly flogged and beaten.

haven't seen the votes
But Dice-K should not have received a single top 5 vote.
Ervin Santana should have been much higher.
I wouldnt have Dice K in my top 5 either
But his season is being underrated, if thats possible… Not because of wins, but he did do some things well… he had the lowest batting average against in the majors, for instance. It wasnt a great year, as one might assume if they were a 1950’s sportswriter looking only at wins – but it wasnt a bad year, by any means. It was a sloppy, weird year… but not bad at all.
