with my obsessions with the Mets, but I have to ask you
If you're the Rays, do you do this trade?
Carlos Delgado for Edwin Jackson, Willy Aybar and Justin Ruggiano (The Mets eat half of Delgado's contract)
My line of thinking: Rays get lefty power hitter for a year to balance out the order while giving away a starter they don't need, a good backup and a table scrap outfielder. Mets get a possible 5 starter or closer, an infielder with pop and a good bench outfielder with some potential.
I'd love critiques, modifications. Please don't hesitate.
