In a recent post of his, Rosenthal insinuated that Dan Murphy and either Niese or Parnell at the top of a trade package would be enough to land Peavy.
If this is true, the Mets must have Peavy. NOW. But of course, this is a dream... The likely price would undoubtedly cost Martinez as well.
Also, Rosenthal seems to think that the Pads would want Cano at the top of a package from the Yanks, Even though the likely cost will be much more than just Robinson. Probably Hughes, Jackson and Kennedy.
