Will he resurface somewhere?

Is anyone else as surprised as I am not only that McPherson wasn't tendered a contract by the Angels, but also that he hasn't signed on somewhere else yet? (at least not that I've heard)  I know the guy got messed up pretty good, but he was one heck of a prospect and is still relatively young.  You'd think a team with an adequate 3B now but a long-term need might take a flier on the guy.  (as a Twins fan I'd love to see them give him a shot)
