hey guys
i was just wondering what everyone thought about Bobby Crosby and his chances of producing this year

hes been cursed with so many injury problems
and it seems as an a's fan that i keep saying to myself that this will be the year he breaks out

i mean common peter gammons said hes was gunna be the mvp haha

im getting tired of him and his "freak" injuries and so are the a's and many a's fans as well
i mean he says its bad luck but i mean comon hes been down with something constanly

but it seems like were giving him this one last shot this season

and now oakland's shallow lineup wont help his production
what kind of numbers if any do you think he will put up this year?

What's the relevance to minor league baseball?

Just curious - I figured there's some relevance because you posted it on a site devoted to minor league all. Seems there's a rise in questions about major league vets recently, and I wonder if people are looking for more than what their posts say.

Are you trying to assess the prospects for Cliff Pennington moving up?

Or Beane moving him for minor leaugers?

I think he's a bum

All I have to look at is his AVG. in 4 injury ridden seasons he is batting just .240 with 2 season under .230

If you cant hit the ball, you dont belong on the field. Sometimes players with a low avg are a threat with SB. I just dont see what he brings to the table. I see this being his last season as a starter.

There's a giant fork sticking out of him

His only decent season was his rookie year and even then it was his 22 hr's and defense that stood out.

I wish there was more here because I have him in a keeper league. I know I'm not expecting any more than a repeat of 2007.

that was definitely Peter Gammons...my friends and I crack on that joke of an MVP prediction all the time... it was definitely Tony Gwynn playing basketball for Michigan bro (if you don't get that last part, don't worry about it)

one more thing

Pete was apparently knocking back a few when that show was airing because he also picked his Cy Young winner as Kerry Wood...Wood had never and of course still hasn't won more than 14 games in any season...and that is what he went with. Way to try and go deep on those two Petey, that was two really bad swings and misses right there.
