Community MLB Player #9

The lightning quick Reyes takes it over the dominant arm of Jake Peavy. Grady saw some improved results this time around. Let's see if that continues...

Fantasy is not the focus of these polls. Overall play is the general thing to keep in mind when you value the player here. It's all about who you'd want to build a team around here in 2008 and for the next few years beyond it. Anyone that receives under 5% of the vote is subject to removal, with 2% being automatic.

If you vote "Other," please specify who you'd like to see on there.

reyes
I'd put him at 15 on this list. Way overrated. Call me a yankee fan though.

I'm a Yankee fan too
but Reyes is a special talent. I don't think that's crazy for him.

+1
Reyes is every bit worth the hype. He's after Sizemore for me.

I'll keep pluggin for Soriano.  I really do think he'll come back to 2006 form this year.

Mauer...
just because of position.

He, Sizemore, and Reyes are all very close as overall position players, but Mauer gets the nod for me because of position.

Other
Russel Martin.

Position (same as the Mauer vote) plays a huge role here, but he's also durable. If I'm picking a franchise player, I'd want one who doesn't break easily.
