Any word on Andrew Brackman
Hey Yankee fans... last I heard of Brackman, the Yankee's first pick in this years draft was going to the Gulf Coast League. Now, the $4.55 million man has decided to undergo Tommy John elbow surgery. I do not know when this is scheduled to take place, but what impact if any do you see this has on Brackman's future as a Yankee?

Uh
nah
I believe it was a similar situation with Carp. It's not that they didn't do the procedure when they first deemed it necessary, it's that oftentimes even though it's pretty obvious to everyone that surgery is necessary, the pitcher will meet with a bunch of surgeons just to make sure. Basically, you are right, but practically speaking pitchers often wait a while before they get the surgery.

I know a player from NC State
Now I personally have never seen any of Brackmans starts, but I have to believe the guy who played with Brackman and is playing minor league ball right now.
Also for what its worth, the same kid told me that Kershaw struck him out, as well as seven other teammates with a 98 mph fastball this year when they faced off and probably the sickest hammer curve he's seen. He compared it to Joba, who he faced in college.
Also,
All the talent in the world...
As for a teammate that felt his butt puckered up too much....? Well, there was a diary for that issue a while back.
Would you rather have a scrub with the right mindset in college or a stud who needed help with his mental approach?
You can't teach a 100 MPH fastball.
