Not really sure how Longoria and Morales are up, care to explain?

Also Bowden and Inman down?  There were ranked 83rd and 91st respectively by BA to start the season.  Neither have faired that well in AA yet this year but also did very well in High A, and are still young for AA.  I really don't see how there down.

Bravesin07 is so damn reactionary. I bet when his mother took him to the Dr., his leg kicked before the Dr. hit his knee with the reflex hammer. --slurve

Reynolds Wrapped
Well, if Greg Reynolds jumped up onto the radar, I am pretty sure that he hurt something on the way. After pitching just once in the past 10 weeks, Reynolds has now been shut down for the season with persistent shoulder soreness.

I would also hesitate to push Brandon Snyder off of the radar too quickly. The strikeouts are concerning and it is disappointing (if understandable) that the Orioles decided to delay returning him to catcher until next season, but he has demonstrated power and patience while playing in a pitcher's league. His ability to return behind the plate next season will have a much greater impact on his status as a prospect than anything that he has done this season.

Here are a few...
who have been climbing, but may have been off radar before the season:

Steven Pearce from A+ to AAA, great XBH and walks
Chase Headley has 1.000+ OPS in AAA, good walks
Fautino De Los Santos .9 WHIP, 126 ks and 38 BB in 97 innings

I also think Liz has a chance to jump into the top 50 if he can find a way to avoid the big innings to close out the year. It seems he loses control and has a big inning, but outside of that he's been dominant.

Henry Sosa
Barring an August collapse, Sosa will probably be in BA's Top 100.  He was nowhere entering this season.

+1 on Triunfel
He got my attention by being a 17 year old in A+ ball. His statistical performance has been rather boring to this point (outside of the obvious age v comp). But then you consider the $1.3 million signing bonus he got, that the scouting reports are comparing him to Cabrera, all with his age v comp and then it puts the stats in better perspective.

So yeah, I'm definitely keeping an eye on him. Too much in his favor to pass him over because his stats aren't great, yet. I can see him in the 30-40 or higher, if he ends the year hitting over 300.

most have been covered
Antonelli, Teagarden, and Desmond Jennings are some that jump to mind that haven't been mentioned already.

Brew Crew
UP: Jeffress (big-time), Brantley

DOWN: Fermaint, Gillespie (although let me say that I still think both have hope)

Antonelli
If I had to pick just one guy -- I've got to go with Antonelli.

43 XBH; .942 OPS, 24 SBs, 67 BBs to 74 Ks and all at the offensive nadir of a position of 2B.

I think he'd probably out-hit Marcus Giles for the Pads right now...

re
Balentien
Before this season, I thought his low average and high number of K's would keep him from making an impact.  His improvement has made me a believer.

I see someone with Humber down.. Humber had a dead arm period, followed by food poising which he lost 10 pounds and he is still recovering from tommy john so i cant complete write him off especially with his much better July.. Im expecting a big second half from Mr.Humber including a couple of starts/appearnces in the pen

Walker
I read they are working on his mechanics.  That can be a tough time for any professional athlete.  Even Tiger Woods went 2 years without a major when he changed his swing mechanics.  Walker's stuff hasn't gone anywhere.  I think he's certainly lost some of his status because he's going to the pen, but his stuff hasn't gone anywhere.  He's still in my Top-20 I think.

Slighting Hellickson
If he had pitched enough innings to qualify, Hellickson would rank in the SAL's top five in ERA and in the top 10 in WHIP while striking out eight batters per nine and allowing a home run just once every 18 innings.

Short of conquering Atlanta and continuing to march to the sea, what more could reasonably be hoped for from a 20-year-old that was recognized only by Bryan Smith among legitimate pre-season publications?

Jones
These guys aren't really under the radar, but have improved quite a bit this year:

up: Brandon Jones (now in AAA for the Braves, seems to be turning his athleticism into skills this year), Neil Walker (also putting together a solid year, better BB/K ratios)

also: Chris Nelson (remember him?) actually living up to some of the hype this year in A+ ball.

Honorable mention to Rick Ankiel too, I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do against MLB pitching.

brandon hynick
hurts to be a rox prospect, but by all other barometers he's way, way up.

braves
Tommy Hanson, jumped 2 levels and still maintaining absurd k rate. Increased velocity from 89-90 to 92-94 and k rate spiked. Probably the best braves pitching prospect since Adam Wainwright.

Cole Rohrbough, he went "Chuck James" all over the Appy league. K'd nearly 2 per inning while allowing around 5 hits per 9 innings and 1 walk per start.

From the Rangers system
Along with Teagarden, add Kasey Kiker and Omar Poveda, pitchers from the lower levels who look good, and in Frisco, German Duran and Brandon Boggs are getting noticed.  You might start to here more about recently promoted Chris Davis, too.

Twins
Up:  Plouffe, Tyler Robertson, Valencia, Leatherman, Jeff Manship, Nick Blackburn, Matt Fox

Down: Winfree, Brock Peterson, Parmelee, Moses, Span, Waldrop.

Probably some I'm missing but that is a general idea.

Blizzard of Oz
Oswaldo Sosa has also done very well to separate himself from the litany of Twins pitching prospects. Sosa joins the likes of Sean Gallagher and Garrett Olson as pitchers that have moved from relative obscurity to become very legitimate prospects.
