Glenn Gibson

This kid is putting up great numbers in Short Season ball.  He's a 6'4 lefty who was drafted in the 4th round last year.  He ranked as the 7th best prospect according to BA in the Nationals system and had the best curveball and control in the system.  (Which really doesn't tell me much about him because that system isn't so impressive.)  Anyone have any scouting reports on him?  Or knows what he throws and projects as?

Pretty much along the same lines as what you said
His curve and changeup are both considered quality pitches. I believe that a BA staffer called them both plus. Control is obviously good and command looks good so far.

If he threw a little harder he'd be an elite prospect already I suspect. I think that he's still in the 80's. I know that there was some mention in BA's profile of him that he might project to more velocity because of his body, but I don't think that it has happened yet anyway. I like him quite a bit from what I'd seen. Would have liked for the Nats not to have been quite so conservative with him this summer.
