PrintAnyone have any insight on Hoffpauir. I really only know what I see on the stats page. I see that he is absolutely torturing left handed pitchers and it is pulling his numbers up considerably. I wonder if he has the ability to be a Rob Quinlan type hitter, or does he have the defensive chops to turn that platoon split into a full time job as a second baseman. His OBP has been great all year and the Cards aren't exactly running all star guys out in the middle infield.

Quite a bit written on Hoffpauer lately
From what I hear, he's decent enough with the glove to stick if his bat is truly legit. Not like the Cards have a lot of options anyway.
