Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Manny Parra

He is blowing away the Mets. Really impressive stuff in my opinion. That curveball looks excellent and he comes back with 94mph heat. His delivery is really clean too.

consider me on notice.

Very calm, cool delivery
I am very impressed with how MIL develops young arms.  Their minor league coaches should be recognized for their infusion of talent.  Gallardo and Parra are very impressive.

Gotta Be Impressed By Jeffress
He seems to be making strides as well...
Bravesin07 is so damn reactionary. I bet when his mother took him to the Dr., his leg kicked before the Dr. hit his knee with the reflex hammer. --slurve

starting or relieving?
although left handed power arms are hard to find, what seperates him from a guy like wil ledezma?
what are you doing watching pat robertson?!? WE'RE A NIELSON FAMILY!!!

But
He went 6 1/3 with 8 strikeouts.  Judging by this, looks like the guy can probably start.

reminds me of Pettitte
Everything from the stuff right down to the delivery. Extremely impressive.

I think it's safe to say
Parra should be starting and Vargas should be in the pen, not the other way around.  Given Milwaukee's struggles of late, Yost may be willing to make that move.

Outside of the box
An unorthodox possibility: they could use Parra against lefty heavy teams and Vargas against righty heavy teams, keeping the other guy in the pen as a long man.  I'm not necessarily advocating this, just throwing it out there as a possibility.

I watched last night....
very impressive...nice return for a guy that had labrum issues earlier. It is a credit to advances in medicine that it isn't the death sentence it was just 5 years ago. Sadly, too late for Ryan Anderson.
