Pittsburgh Rejoice!

Pirate President Kevin McClatchy will step down after this year and a collective cheer can be heard out of Pittsburgh.  With Kevin gone will this spell the end to the silly protection Dave Littlefield has had for a decade?  Will the Pirates open up, spend some cash and become a contender in the weak NL Central?  Awesome park to play and watch a baseball game. Go Bucs!

If ESPN's comments are to be believed...
McClatchy got screwed.  Why?  Well, it's not his fault that the Pirates wouldn't spend... it's the guys that are now the majority owners.  So, to answer your question, no, they won't.  But that's just going off of a couple of comments on the story on ESPN's site.

Thank God
Pittsburgh has some great baseball fans, but you can only take so much incompetence before you give up.
