Garrett Olson called up
CBS Sportsline reports
CHICAGO -- The Baltimore Orioles purchased the contract of left-hander Garrett Olson from Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday.
Olson, who was 7-6 with a 3.46 ERA for Norfolk, was scheduled to start against Chicago in his major league debut.
To make room for Olson on the roster, the Orioles designated reliever Scott Williamson for assignment. Williamson was 1-0 with a 4.40 ERA in 16 appearances. He wasn't available in Tuesday night's loss to the White Sox because of a bruised foot.
So what does everyone think of him? Will he have any impact for the O's in the future or is he just another arm that will come and go? I hope he does well for the O's because I'm tired of seeing them do so poorly. And I'm not even a Baltimore fan.
