Joe Dillon, 3B

He's the new darling of the "free talent" set of players toiling away at AAA.  Since getting back surgery, his minor league numbers have been off the charts.  I'm kind of surprised he hasn't gotten a chance somewhere....

  1. 312/395/590, 43/31 BB/K
  2. japan
  3. 360/459/631
  4. 325/400/665
Is this guy going to become the next Olmedo Saenz, or has his shot at a MLB career already passed him by?

He did get a chance
with the Marlins a few years back.  He's a good minor league hitter, who probably could have been Saenz if given an opportunity.  At this point, I don't think he'll ever be a significant part of a MLB bench.

Numbers
Impressive, would he be any worse than Nick Punto or Jason Tyner in Minnesota?
