Best Minor League Player Names?

This diary was produced by me running across the name Ludovicious Van Mil in a box score.  He's a 7'1"(!) righty in the Twins system.  He's already 22 and only in rookie ball, but I'll sure be rooting for that name to make it to the majors.  What are some of your favorite minor leaguer names?

Easily #1
if I were starting a franchise I would take a guy like Dustin McGowan over [Andrew] Miller or [Homer] Bailey any day of the week. by GregJP on Tue Jul 03, 2007

well if you can combine names
Gorkys Ka'aihue is a fine one.
"KaoticKlown" on Elijah Dukes : Finally, MLB has the answer to Shawn Kemp it has been searching for since the mid-90s.

Yurendell DeCaster
but he isn't really a prospect, just in the minors

Also Asdrubal Cabrera is pretty weird
I've also always liked Wladimir Balentien

Rowdy Hardy
is definitely one of the best, but the Royals also have a minor leaguer named Rubi Koko.

crazy name trade
Maybe if the Brewers & Phillies make a trade for pitching prospects, then we would see a trade of. . .

Inman for Outman

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. It reminds us of all that once was good, and that could be again.

Not sure if he still plays
Wes Swackhammer?...I know he was in the Cards system a few years ago, but I am sure he is out of baseball.

Some Indians' Prospects names!
Hello everyone,

Some Indians' Prospects (to varying degrees) who have some interesting names:

AAA Buffalo:
RHP Edward "Bubbie" Buzachero - usually goes by "Bubbie" - and is a decent relief prospect at AAA, though he is 26.

OF Shin-Soo Choo - most know him, and he's more of a tweener OFer, but still a legitimate prospect, being that he just turned 25 yesterday and has had success at AAA, but is currently out with an arthritic elbow.

AA Akron:
INF Rodney Choy Foo - Hawaiian descent; being that he's 25, at best, he might be a decent utility INF, mostly because he does hit for decent power and can play a multiple of positions.

SS Asdrubal Cabrera - as mentioned above, some either call him "AsCab" or "Droob."

High-A Kinston:

RHP Sung-Wei Tseng - Taiwanese pitcher who's a decent starting pitching prospect, as he's just 22-YO in his first year of American professional baseball.

C Chao Kuan Wu - he's also from Taiwan; a 23-YO who is in his first year of American professional baseball, he's not much of a prospect at this point, as he doesn't play very much - is mostly the 2nd or 3rd catcher behind C Max Ramirez, and sometimes, behind 28-YO C Armando Camacaro.

Low-A Lake County:
OF Cirilo Cumberbatch - Just-turned 21-YO Panamaian has solid tools and was hitting well over .300 for a while before a recent slump dropped him down to around .270 or so.

INF Niuman Romero - pronounced "Newman" - the 22-YO is not much of a prospect, with possibly being a reserve player being his likely ceiling, as he plays all over the place and hasn't done much offensively in the past.

SS-A Mahoning Valley:
RHP Nathan Bunton - 23-YO 38th-Rd. 2006 pick out of Midland Lutheran College, TX.

C Osiel Flores - 23-YO from McAllen, TX with a first name I've never seen before.

INF Cristo Arnal - 22-YO from Caracas, Venzuela with a first name I've never seen before and an unusual name as well.

INF Jansy Infante - 21-YO from Santiago, Dominican Republic, with a first name I've never seen before.

Take care and have a great day!

Jorge Poo Tang
Come on guys...I actually like Rowdy Hardy better, but Jorge Poo Tang deserves an honorable mention.

Honorable mention should definitely go to
someone who has "Poo" in their name.  :-)
