PrintI just want to know what people's opinions are of Howell and his potential performance.
I know he's a former 1st rounder from the Royals who was rushed, but he's appeared to rebound in the D-Rays minor league system. In his first go in the Show, he was knocked around. I want to know how people will think he will do this time around. Also, let me know about his repetiore and stuff; is it good enough to get major league hitters out?

He'll do okay
He certainly doesn't have blowaway stuff (he can reach for 88 with a stiff wind behind him), but he has 5 usable pitches, keeps the ball out of the middle of the plate and paces himself extremely well. He'll always be the kind of pitcher who needs help from the defense behind him, but he can hang in the majors for a while.

He's a personal favorite...
and I think he'll be a decent pitcher for a while. I love his curveball/s.
