i need fantasy trade advice quickly

i would be dealing brandon wood and cameron maybin for ryan zimmerman. our league is a dynasty salary league, and my other two 3b are chavez and lowell and they are both 9 mil each. my OF is andruw, berk, and delmon, and i also have snider in my minors. good trade for me or no?

Zimmerman's fantasy value is lower than his real-life value

Also, the reason I'd hold off is because while Zimmerman will put up reliable, above-average numbers for a while, I don't see him ever developing 40 HR power (Wood) or 50+ Steal potential (Maybin). So, unless you wanna make a strong push at this year, I'd hold off.

Jay Bruce can DISAPPEAR

but what i also have to look at is
that i can dump chavez or lowell and use that cap space to improve my roster with other players

If
you can clear the salary cap space of Lowell and Chavez then I'd likely do it.  I like Zimmerman, he's going to give you above avg #s for a 3B, you likely won't use Maybin in your OF for 2 years with the guys you currently have.

I'd Do It
Zimmerman is a solid player who is established in MLB.  Wood K's a whole lot. Not totally convinced he's ever going to make the jump to the majors.  Haven't followed Maybin as closely, but isn't he at least a couple of years away?

That's what she said
I'd do it as well. Zimmerman is a solid solid third baseman who is heating up right now. Wood K's to much, but still maybe a good SS/3B and Maybin is a year or two away. I think Zimmerman is worth those two.

Replaceable
It's not like Wood and Maybin are the type of prospects who won't come around again.

really?
Well, they both may be replaceable, but we are talking about giving up two elite offensive prospects in this deal. Remember, both Maybin and Wood were Top 10 prospects coming into this season.

Because of the general fickleness of some prospect watchers, Wood has slipped way down after really one bad month in AAA. He still has 8 HR and 16 2b in 220 abs, along with 8 sb's. Because of his power upside, he could very well end up being more valuable fantasy player than Zimmerman. Maybin may be a few years away, but his developing power/speed combination has to be up there with the best in the minors.

All that being said, I am a big fan of Ryan Zimmerman. I think he has the power to hit 30+ HR, along with a .300 average, a bunch of walks and a few sb's for good measure. Depending on what your 3b situation looks like and your proximity to the top of your league, I would take the deal. But if you are not going for it this year, I would hold tight with Maybin and Wood, because I think your patience will be rewarded kindly in the coming seasons.

as i said before
ive got chavez aand lowell at 3b, and lowell is occupying the dh spot, but they also cost over 9 mil each. thats a lot of money being used up for one position. as for my position, i am 1 game out of the wild card and 5 games back from the division leader, maybe 4 after this week, so if i was gonna make a move it needed to be now. i could take the division if andruw and berkman ever wake the hell up

Why not just dump lowell or Chavez
for a cheaper DH off the waiver wire?

Zimmerman is a decent but not great fantasy player, and there's a better than even chance he ends up the worst player in the deal two years from now.  I'm all for going for it, but you don't give up that much upside for a Zimmerman
