OK
I've been thinking about this for awhile, and I'm not trying to single anyone out, but maybe we should have a daily "Question Diary" like the Daily Stats diaries we have.  Each morning someone could start a diary with the title "Questions on 6-14" or whatever, and then any fantsay question, random questions like this, or anything else that doesn't fully need an entire diary.

This is just a thought, but I think it could solve alot of problems here, and keep people from complaining about the number of "unnecessary" diaries being posted each day.

it's a good idea not just because it helps lower the number of diaries that are going to have one or two comments max, but also because it encourages even more questions that people might not ask otherwise because there's no real forum for it. opening up a place to ask short, factual questions freely would benefit everyone, since we'd all hear what's on people's minds sooner, rather than having everyone hesitate for a week or so to make sure they're not jumping the gun and asking something trivial.

definitely
i've had a few questions but held off because starting a thread seemed a little overboard.

maybe a daily questions & comments thread for stuff that may not have a place in some of the other subjects?

Alternatively
John could post an open thread each day for posters to throw out random comments and questions.

great idea.  only challenge will be selling hit-and-run posters who might not be site regulars on the idea that it exists.  but doing it will be better than not doing it.

id still appreciate an answer
i am a "site regular", but i also see no point in putting the question on an older thread and just hoping someone sees it. we already have the daily update thread, and believe me i looked there last night and this morning before i made the post

Not sure
There is nothing on Rotoworld about him, I see nothing about it on Lakeland's site, or on minorleaguebaseball.com.  I'm not sure what the deal is, hopefully it's not serious and a Tigers fan can let us know.

As I said in my original comment, I wasn't trying to single you out or anything.  I do understand the idea of not wanting to ask about in last night's Daily thread, but instead of starting a diary specifically asking about Maybin's injury, why not start today's Minor League diary and ask the question in there?
